FundScrip
Supporting your church through buying
FundScrip is a method of fund raising that provides the Parish with capital and you with a tax receipt, for a percentage of the goods that you purchase.
The concept is simple – you buy cash cards from FundScrip for businesses that you use, then pay for the purchases with their cards. The cards are worth what you pay for them. At the end of the year, the church receives a rebate from FundScrip based the volume of cards bought and you receive a tax receipt for your share of the rebate.
The more you buy, the greater the church’s rebate and the more you receive for your annual donation.
FundScrip cash cards are great for:
There are more than 103 businesses in Atlantic Canada represented by FundScrip. Take an order form from the bin in the Church entry to see which companies deal with FundScrip or download an Order Form.
FundScrip is not just for you - your family and friends can also participate and receive their own tax receipt.
Orders with payment, that are given to the Parish FundScrip coordinator, on or before the last Sunday of the month, will be available at church the following Sunday.
E-transfers are accepted.
