                                                                                               Parish Goals 2025-2030

Mission Statement:     “Building a Christ-centered, inclusive Community rich in Faith, Hope, Fellowship and Love”

Values Statement:        We:

                                                  - proclaim that Christ was crucified and has risen
                                                  - teach, baptize and nurture all persons
                                                  - respond to human need through loving service
                                                  - seek to transform injustices and pursue peace and reconciliation
                                                  - protect and respect the integrity and sustainability of God’s creation and the earth
  • We:
Vision Statement:        “We will invite and welcome everyone”

 Analysis
              Strengths:
  •  - open and welcoming atmosphere
  •  - dedicated core of people with strong Christian beliefs
  •  - music talent
  •  -  financially secure - i.e. have a rectory, investments
  •  - area of rapidly growing population
  •  - valued programs – such as Men’s Breakfast, Ladies Luncheon, Book Club

               Weaknesses:
  •  - need to increase/enhance programs offered
  •  - attracting people that are representative of the area demographics

              Opportunities:
  • - Growing population
  • - An inclusive church
  • - Exploration of what it means to be a community church
  • - based on current statistics, more than 8.3% of the people in our Parish community still self-identify as Anglican. That’s over 900 potential new Church members - a lot
  •    of potential!

             Challenges:
  • - much of the population identifies as having no religious affiliation
  • - people identifying as Anglicans are decreasing at a significant rate
  • - family activities leave little room for church
  • - location of the church is not central to the population centers

Goals:
  •   - Attract and engage new members to our Church
  •   - Reduce current operating expenses
  •   - Increase total revenue
  •   - Using a portion of our total revenue build a solid base of mission, outreach and evangelistic initiatives and programs
